The Cook tab shows all 22 recipes, with a dish of the day at the top. Filter by country using the row of chips. Tap any dish to open it.
Every recipe is scored 0–5 on the five tastes: salty, heat, sour, umami and sweet. It tells you what a dish is going to taste like before you commit to cooking it.
Inside a recipe, use the − and + buttons to set how many people you are feeding. Every ingredient and every quantity written into the instructions rescales instantly. The g/ml ↔ oz/cup switch beside it converts between metric and US units, and your choice is remembered.
Tap Cook now for large-type, step-by-step guidance. Steps that need timing have a timer built in — tap play to start it, and Timpla chimes and vibrates when time is up. Your screen stays awake for as long as you are in cook mode.
Under the Mine tab, open the Timpla Doctor when a dish has gone wrong. Choose what you are cooking (soup, stir-fry, curry, fried, braise) and what the problem is (too salty, flat, too sour, too sweet, too spicy, fishy, bitter) for technique that actually fixes it.
In the Search tab, tap the ingredients that are in your kitchen. Timpla ranks every dish you can make and shows what is missing from the ones you cannot.
Tap the basket inside any recipe to add its ingredients. Ingredients shared between recipes are added together automatically, grouped by aisle, and scaled to the servings you picked. Tap an item to check it off.
Yes. Every feature is included, there are no in-app purchases, and there are no ads.
Neither. Timpla works fully offline and has no sign-up at all.
Everything you save lives on your device only. It is included in encrypted iPhone backups, so restoring a backup to a new phone brings your saved recipes, cook log and grocery list with it. There is no cloud sync between devices.
Yes — more dishes and regions are planned. If there is a dish you want, email it in; requests genuinely shape what gets added next.

Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Nothing of yours exists anywhere else.
Timpla is free, so there is nothing to refund. If you ever purchase anything from Apple by mistake, refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
