TIMPLA

Timpla collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no network connection of any kind. Everything stays on your iPhone.

The short version

Timpla has no server. There is no address for your information to be sent to, because the app never connects to the internet. This is not a policy choice that could quietly change in the background — it is how the app is built.

What Timpla stores, and where

The app saves the following to a single file inside its own private storage area on your device:

Recipes you bookmark
A count of dishes you have marked as cooked
Your grocery list and which items you have checked off
The ingredients you have marked as being in your kitchen
Your metric or US unit preference

That is the complete list. This data never leaves your device. It is not readable by me or by anyone else.

What Timpla does not do

No personal information is collected — no name, email, phone number or address
No accounts and no sign-in
No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or usage measurement
No advertising and no advertising identifiers
No tracking, and no data shared with any third party
No third-party SDKs are included in the app at all
No location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data is accessed

Children

Timpla is safe for all ages and rated 4+. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it collects none from children either.

Backups

If you back up your iPhone, Timpla’s saved data is included in that backup, the same as any other app. Those backups are operated by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, and I have no access to them.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data a company holds about you. I hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for me to disclose, sell, export or delete. Nothing about you is ever sold or shared — there is nothing to sell.

Deleting your data

Delete the app from your iPhone and everything it saved is removed with it.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Timpla ever adds a feature that touches your data, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described plainly here.
