Common questions

What is Selah?

Selah is the Bible, one verse per swipe — the whole canon in a full-screen feed, with deep studies (meaning, historical context, original Greek and Hebrew), reading plans, search, and verse share cards. It works completely offline.

Which Bible translations are included?

The World English Bible (WEB), a trustworthy modern-English translation, and the King James Version (KJV). Both are in the public domain and bundled in full — all 66 books, roughly 31,100 verses each. Switch between them anytime from the pill at the top of the reading feed.

What's free, and what needs Selah Plus?

Reading the Bible is free forever: both translations, the full feed, search, saving, likes, and streaks, plus the Start With John plan and five deep studies. Selah Plus unlocks every deep study, every reading plan, and verse share cards.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Selah Plus. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep Plus until the current period ends. During a free trial, cancelling means you're never charged.

I subscribed but Plus isn't unlocked.

Open the Selah Plus screen and tap Restore Purchases. If that doesn't resolve it, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account that bought the subscription, then restart the app. Still stuck? Email us.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Selah has no accounts, no cloud, no analytics, and no tracking — see the privacy policy. Deleting the app deletes your reading data, so note down anything you want to keep.

Can I request a feature?

Please do. Selah is built by a single maker and shaped by reader mail — audio reading, more translations, and more study coverage are already on the list, and your note helps order it.
